This song relates to Ken so much that it hurts so much, just by listening to the lyrics closely you can tell his thoughts and feelings and how he cannot escape his fate and the monster he's become to protect his friends and himself, constantly going against himself and watching the world fall and himself tear and break. He's trapped in the cage that the world created.

Ken is emotionally and mentally unstable from several weeks(months?? ^^;) of abuse, but all Ken is really guilty of is trying to live, not just survive and protect his friends, he wasn't doing it to just hurt others he was doing to it to protect his place to belong. So instead of giving in to despair he took his despair and molded himself to it to help himself for once instead of taking all the pain into himself. Ken was experimented on by the doctor that saved his life and made into a tool to help break the cage of the world that was bestowed upon him. He learns that "ghouls" and "humans" are the same and that its the him that is wrong it's the world, and he sets out to fix it and make ghouls understand humans and vice versa.
